ELTRUN The E-Business Research Center participated in the 2^nd Review Meeting of the EU Funded research project AquaSPICE in Istanbul Turkey. The two day review meeting took place on 12-13.03.2024 and all partners came together to present the progress of the AquaSPICE project and discuss the current status as well as the next steps of the project towards its successful completion.

In the course of the review meeting, ELTRUN presented the progress conducted in the second period of the project relevant to optimization showcasing the entirety of the optimization algorithms for the selected cases as well as live-demo the optimization engine that was developed in the course of the project. The optimization engine is extended to meet the requirement of optimizing water utilization in an industrial setting.

Furthermore in the course of the two-day review meeting, the project partners presented all aspects of the Real Time Monitoring platform as well as the Digital – Twins enabled Cyber-Physical Water Management System that was developed to enable factories in the appropriate utilization of water in their processes.

Having completed the review, the project proceeds in its final round where the overall system will be further tested in the live environment towards presenting the benefits of its application in an industrial setting.
