17 Sep COG-LO Plenary Meeting and POSTEUROP Market Activities Circle Forum

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]ELTRUN participated in the plenary meeting of the Cog-Lo EU Funded project and the POSTEUROP Market Activities Circle Forum held in Split, Croatia on 16-19 September 2019.

The Cog-Lo (COGnitive Logistics Operations through secure, dynamic and ad-hoc collaborative networks
ID:769141) project is in the area of Logistics 4.0. and aims to tackle the challenges of load factor optimization, dynamic response to events and ad-hoc orders, the growth of e-Commerce and cross-country deliveries as well as new collaborative models integrating the digital and physical internet.  COG-LO introduces the notion of a Cognitive Logistics Object (CLO) where any of our physical objects that participate in the supply chain (cargo, vehicle, warehouse, Parking slot, other transport modes, systems, etc.) are introduced in a cognitive framework and the CLO Advisor tool that will process large amounts of heterogeneous data and enable the CLO to understand, assess possible alternatives (and routes) and propose solutions to unexpected or ad-hoc events.
