During the student conference DIGINDUSTRY of the University of Piraeus and the Department of Industrial Management and Technology ELTRUN E-Business Research Center researchers facilitated an interactive workshop exploring how digital and AI technologies can shape the future of Industry 4.0 and Industry 5.0 — from intelligent automation and reconfigurable manufacturing to circularity, sustainability, manufacturing as a service and human-machine collaboration. As part of the programme, Tec4MaaSEs, MODAPTO and Plooto Projects were presented as Case Studies focused on Digital Transformation in Industry and using a refined Brainwriting method, participants generated bold ideas and mapped them onto a Practitioner’s Digital Transformation Framework.
Overall 70 students participated in the workshop and provided ideas on the future of manufacturing taking under consideration and best practices the work conducted in the MODAPTO, Plooto and Tec4MaaSEs projects
